Review on iPod nano 8GB

by admin on Aug.12, 2009, under Uncategorized

Apple’s fourth generation of iPod Nano returns to its original long, light and slender formula with the Nano 8GB Ipod. Apple offers an attractive range of nine colors for the 8GB and 16GB versions. The iPod nano 8GB feels amazingly light and thin, with a seamless metallic construction which prevents it from snapping like a twig.

A slightly curved design gives iPod nano 8GB the essence of an airplane wing, repeating the rounded design themes of Apple’s iPhone 3G and also its second generation iPod touch. In comparison to the short, squarish designing of last year’s design of Nano the long, tapered generation iPod nano 8GB is easier to clasp. The curved glass now covers the iPod nano 8GB’s screen giving it more resilience against scratches.

The shape is quite softened yet its dimensions are almost same as its second generation version measuring 3.5 inches tall by 1.6 inches wide by 0.25 inch thick. Due to the fact that nano has flipped its screen on the side, menus and user interface also get a dramatic overhaul from previous year’s models. The fonts of the menu in this fourth generation of iPod nano 8GB has made it legible and easy for reading.

All the features in the iPod Nano 8GB similar to last year’s Nano have been migrated to this fourth generation model which includes music, video, and podcast playback as well as extras like photos, calendar, games, alarms, stopwatch, contacts, notes, and clocks.
